The first time I made it to the planet "Crimson Veil," I had like, one engine left and no shields. I just barely scraped in, and the little "mission accomplished" sound effect was so satisfying. It's not about upgrading everything to max, it's about specializing. Do you make your rocket super fast but fragile, or slow and tanky? I went for speed and it's so much more fun.
