I thought it was gonna be some boring hidden object game, like Where's Waldo but with ghosts. And the first level, "The Dusty Attic," yeah it started out like that. I was just clicking on everything, hoping Luigi would pop out of a dusty old boot or something. But then I clicked on this old music box, and it didn't just open. It like, started playing this super creepy, cute little tune, and then a tiny ghost mouse popped out and scurried across the screen, knocking over a stack of books. And *that* revealed a secret panel.
That's when it clicked for me. This isn't about finding Luigi, it's about making the *whole scene* come alive to get to him. It's like a Rube Goldberg machine mixed with an escape room, but all cute and Luigi-themed. You have to figure out the chain reaction. Like in the "Professor E. Gadd's Lab" stage, I had to turn on a Bunsen burner to melt some ice, which made a beaker overflow, which then short-circuited a robot arm that finally pushed a button to open a cabinet where Luigi was chilling. It's so clever!
I started playing at like 8 PM and next thing I knew it was almost midnight. I totally lost track of time. I don't usually get into these puzzle games, but this one is just different. The little sounds when you discover something, like a tiny "boing!" or a surprised "Egad!" from a hidden Toad, they're so good. I even told my cousin Sarah about it already, she loves puzzles. Seriously, forget that dumb description. This game is actually brilliant. You need to download it ASAP.
