OMG dude. Are you awake? I literally just finished playing Quack's Logic Labyrinth and I can't sleep now, my brain is still buzzing.
Remember how I told you someone described it as "Quack's Logic Labyrinthlings take a bath. The little duck randomly appears on the platform above. Clicking the screen will bring up water. Control the water to flush the little duck into the bath pool at the bottom. Come and have a try."? Yeah, that's like describing a gourmet pizza as "bread with toppings." Technically true, but completely misses the point. It's so much more!
Honestly, I thought it was gonna be some dumb little kid's game. But no. The first level was easy, just a simple stream into the "Splash Basin," right? I was like, "Okay, whatever." But then they introduced the "Flow-Flippers" and the "Aqua-Gears" and suddenly your not just pouring water, your building this crazy little water machine. Like, I had to figure out how to make a tiny waterfall hit a spinning gear just right to open a gate, then time it so the water pushed three little ducklings, all with different colored hats, into separate pools at the bottom. It's so clever.
I totally lost track of time. I looked at the clock and it was 1:30 AM, oops. I was on this one stage, the "Crystal Caverns," where you have to freeze water to make ice bridges and then melt them again. I kept messing up the timing and this one little duckling, "Puddle," kept getting stuck on a ledge. I almost gave up but then I realized if I used the "Steam Vent" to push the water *up* first, it would activate a pressure plate I hadn't even noticed. It was like, a real lightbulb moment. The little "plink" sound when you solve a puzzle is so satisfying too.
I don't usually like puzzle games, they can be kinda boring, but this one is different. It's really fun. Like, really, really fun. It makes your brain work but in a good way, not a frustrating way. I was thinking about the "Gear Grotto" level during my morning commute, trying to figure out that last duck. I already told my sister, Chloe, she needs to download it. You should too! It's not just about flushing ducks, it's like building a tiny, adorable Rube Goldberg machine with water. Seriously, you gotta try it.
