Okay so someone told me about it, and the description I got was like, "You drive a powerful truck, pick up a stranded car, deliver it safely. Navigate realistic terrain, avoid obstacles." Sounds kinda boring right? Like a truck simulator or something. It's like describing pizza as "bread with toppings" – technically true but completely missing the point.
Because holy crap, that description is so wrong it's almost funny. I thought it was gonna be some chill delivery game. I started the first "stage," just driving along, and I'm thinking, "Okay, pretty graphics I guess." Then suddenly, out of nowhere, these crazy, souped-up dune buggies and motorcycles just swarm me! They're like, shooting at my truck and trying to ram me off the road! I almost dropped my controller. And then I hit the wrong button and my truck, like, *fired a giant harpoon gun* at one of them and dragged it behind me for a bit before it exploded. That's when I realized this ain't no delivery service.
Your mission isn't to "deliver it safely." Your mission is to *survive* the haul, and the "stranded car" you pick up? It's like, a giant, super valuable, *exploding* decoy or something you have to protect while these psycho gangs try to take it from you. You have to fight your way through! My truck has like, flamethrowers on the side and a big ramming plate on the front. It's less "precision driving" and more "precision *destruction*."
Honestly, I'm not usually into these kind of chaotic driving games, but this one just hooked me. There was this one moment where I was driving through a canyon, and I had like three of those biker gangs on my tail, and my truck was smoking, and I saw a ramp, and I just went for it. I launched over this huge gap, and as I landed, I smashed into two of the buggies below. The sound was so satisfying, like a perfect crunch. I just kept playing, telling myself "one more run," and then I looked at the clock and it was already past midnight. Your boy Leo would love this game, I already told him.
