Thung Thung Sahur's Burning Hea

About Thung Thung Sahur's Burning Hea

Dude, you gotta hear about this game, Thung Thung Sahur's Burning Hea. I just finished playing and it's like, 11 PM, and I can't even sleep because my brain is still buzzing.

Remember that description someone gave me? About it being a Minecraft-style chicken jockey zombie, armed with a torch, fighting a wooden guy named Tung Tung Sahur? And how you're supposed to stop him from burning everything? Yeah, that description is total garbage. It's like saying pizza is just "bread with toppings." Technically true, but it completely misses the whole point of *pizza*.

I went into it thinking it was gonna be some dumb hack-and-slash, just whack the wooden guy with fire. But then I started playing, and wow. The first time I saw "Thung Thung" (that's what I call him, btw), I just ran at him with my torch, ready to light him up. NOPE. He just got super fast, like, his eyes went all red and he just *charged* at me. My little chicken, Nugget, was clucking like crazy trying to dodge. I died like, five times, just trying to burn him.

And then it hit me. Your not supposed to burn *him*. You're supposed to use the fire to melt the snow around him, and then he gets all slow and stuck in the slush! That's the trick! It's like, a puzzle game disguised as an action game. The chicken isn't just for riding either. Nugget can like, peck at frozen switches or lure Thung Thung into puddles. It's so much more clever than just "ride and fight."

I was playing this one stage, the "Frosty Grotto," trying to get Thung Thung to chase me through this narrow ice tunnel. I kept messing up, and then Nugget made this little "bawk?" sound, and I saw a tiny crack in the ice. I lit it with my torch, and it opened a whole new path! Blew my mind. Honestly, I looked at the clock and it was almost 2 AM. I was just gonna play for like, 30 minutes. But I couldn't stop thinking about how to get past the next part.

It's not perfect, the camera can be a bit janky sometimes when you're in tight spots. But man, the feeling when you figure out a tricky part? So good. I already told Leo about it, because he loves those weird games that make you think. You should totally try it. It's fun, like, really, really fun. It's like a really smart hide-and-seek game, but you're also changing the environment. Way more interesting than just "hit the bad guy."

Anyway, I should probably try to sleep now. But seriously, check it out.
