Speedboat Blitz Racing
About Speedboat Blitz Racing
Hey, you awake? It's 11 PM and I literally cannot sleep because I'm still thinking about Speedboat Blitz Racing. Remember how Liam told me it was all about, like, "drive the fastest speedboat, shoot enemies, high-speed thrill"? Man, that description is so wrong it's like describing pizza as "bread with toppings." Technically true, but completely misses the point.
Honestly, when I first started playing, I was expecting some loud, chaotic shooter where I just blast other boats. And yeah, your boat goes fast. But the "shooting" part? It's not a gun gun. Your boat has this weird tether gun, right? And you don't shoot *at* other boats to blow them up. You shoot these glowing buoys or even *other boats* to, like, grapple onto them or pull yourself around corners super fast. Or you can tag an opponent to briefly slow them down or even *boost* off them if you time it right. It's so clever!
The first time I figured out how to chain three tethers together, pulling myself through a narrow passage in the Coral Cove stage, it felt so good. Like, you're not just racing, you're *dancing* with the water. The sound of the tether snapping and the boat just gliding... it's really good. I'm not usually into racing games, especially not boat ones, but this isn't really a racing game. It's more like a puzzle game where the puzzle is the track and your boat is the solution.
I looked at the clock and it was like, 2:30 AM. Oops. I was trying to beat my time on the 'Sunken City' level, just figuring out the perfect line to take, how to use the abandoned buildings to slingshot myself. I even thought about it today at work, like, "Could I have tethered to that broken mast for an extra second of boost?" It just makes your brain work in a different way. The tutorial was a bit confusing at first, honestly, because I kept trying to shoot like it was a normal game. But once it clicked, man, it clicked. You gotta play it. Seriously. It's fun. Really, really fun.
Okay, gonna try to actually sleep now. But seriously, download it. Your gonna love it.
