Dude, you awake? I literally cannot sleep, my brain is still buzzing from College Hoops Live. I just played it for like, hours.

And the crowd went wild with this super specific cheer for him. That was the first time I was like, "Whoa, okay, this is different."
Honestly, the first few games I was just losing bad, pressing all the buttons. But then I started noticing little things. Like, if you pass to 'The Professor' (my made-up character) right after a rebound, he gets this little glow around him and his next shot is almost guaranteed. It's not even in the tutorial, I just stumbled on it! And then I figured out if you switch to 'Zone Defense 2' right after they inbound, their star player, 'Slammin' Sammy,' gets totally confused and throws the ball away. It's so cheap but it works every time!
It makes you think, you know? Like, it looks simple, but there's actual strategy happening. It's like watching those old Looney Tunes cartoons, where it looks silly but there's actually really clever stuff happening underneath. I was trying to fall asleep and just kept replaying that buzzer-beater shot in my head, where 'Big Mike' got the rebound and just threw it from half-court. How did I even pull that off? The referee's whistle even sounds like a duck quacking, I swear, it makes me laugh every time.
I don't usually like sports games, they're always so boring and repetitive, but this one is different. It’s fun. Really, really fun. I looked at the clock and it was like, 1 AM. I thought it was 9! You gotta try it, seriously. It's not what you think. I already told Sarah from work about it, she's gonna download it tonight. You should too.
