Dude, you awake? I literally just finished playing Reef Snipe and my brain is still buzzing. It's almost 11 PM and I'm not gonna sleep now.
Remember how Mark told us it was like, 8-ball pool underwater? Total, absolute BS. Like that description is so wrong it's hilarious. Saying it's pool is like calling a fancy restaurant a 'place that serves food.' Technically true, but completely misses the point.
It's not pool *at all*. You don't even have a cue stick! You're like, this deep-sea diver person and your job is to guide these tiny, glowing fish things – they call them 'Glow-snipes' – through these crazy coral mazes. You have this sonic device, almost like a little sonar gun, and you send out these gentle pulses to nudge them. But the currents are wild, and there are these bigger, slow-moving 'Reef Lurkers' that will eat your Glow-snipes if you're not careful. It’s like a puzzle game, but with super delicate physics.
The first time I played, I was so confused. I kept trying to 'aim' like pool, and nothing happened. Then I realized it's all about timing your pulses and using the currents to your advantage. There was this one level, 'Whispering Grotto,' where you had to get 8 Glow-snipes through this really narrow passage, and the current was pushing them *away* from the sanctuary. I spent like, twenty minutes just figuring out how to bounce them off a specific coral formation to redirect them. It was so satisfying when I finally nailed it, like, a little 'thrum' sound effect when they reach safety. So good.
Honestly I don't usually like puzzle games that make your brain hurt, but this one is different. It's just so chill, but also super intense when you're down to your last Glow-snipe and a Lurker is closing in. I looked up and it was like, 10:45 PM and I thought I'd only been playing for twenty minutes. Your gonna love it. I already told my cousin Sarah she has to try it. Seriously, forget what you heard, this game is something else. We gotta talk about it tomorrow.
